In addition to theatrical performances that definitely deserve your viewing, Ljubljana Drama also offers the perfect space where you can relax and also find inspiration for yourself. In addition to a space for socializing, Drama Kavarna also hosts numerous musical and literary events. It is open Monday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m.
COFFE SHOP STOW:
Art and history go hand in hand. That is why the City Museum, where you can currently learn about the history of our capital in a permanent exhibition and see important works of art created on its territory, is certainly the right decision. After the tour, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the Stow Café, which is also open to those who are not destined for the museum. The café is located in a renovated Renaissance palace, and offers exotic and prestigious coffees from renowned boutique roasteries as well as sweet and savory pies and wines and beers from Slovenian microbreweries.
The café is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Thursdays until 9 pm.
The Škuc Gallery, located on Stari trg 21, also deserves your visit. It is known for often hosting the first solo exhibitions of young Slovene artists, as well as exhibitions of already established Slovene and foreign artists and guest curators, as well as socio-cultural documentary exhibitions. . In the summer, you can see the Velerie Wolf Gang exhibition, which focuses on the artist’s exploration of the connections between the human body, technology and astronautics. The exhibition runs from 17 June to 21 July 2021, and you can visit the gallery from Tuesday to Sunday between 12 noon and 7 pm. Admission is 1 €.
